To celebrate 25 years of luxury, BMW Individual has teamed up with another deluxe crafter.
The company’s collaboration with Finnish shipyard Nautor’s Swan have paved the way for the creation of one of the most lavish 7-Series models to date. A special coat of Damask Red covers the car’s exterior, while a Smoke White Merino leather with Criollo Brown trim covers the executive four-seat setup.
Plush leather surrounds both the A and B pilars as are the sides of the door sills and dashboard gauge clusters. As expected, BMW Individual has fitted the model with deluxe features, including rear screens, ventilated seats and executive rear foldaway tables.
Further adding a luxurious touch to the new model is Nautor’s Swan’s personal teak panels highlighting the cabin, which replicates upscale yachts. Joints are also filled with a rubber layer which expands and contracts to cater to the ever-changing temperatures.
Other distinctive features added by BMW Individual to the model, include custom floor mats and tread sills inspired by teak wood as well as signature ‘S’ logos stitched into cushions, sun visors and headrests.
What’s more, Nautor’s Swan’s signature “Swan” motif is inscribed on each brake caliper hidden behind bespoke alloys.
To ensure impressive performance, the new BMW model retains the V12 6.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine rated at 610 horsepower. With the German automaker’s signature XDrive system paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, this executive sedan launches to 100 in just 3.7 seconds.
Visitors to the recently concluded Frankfurt Motor Show exclusively witnessed the BMW Individual M760Li models inspired by Nautor’s Swan.
